#DreamChaser: Graduation first before PBA for Paul Varilla
HASHTAG DREAM CHASER: Paul Varilla wants to graduate from UE first before trying his luck in the PBA.

With his UAAP journey now over, UE's Paul Varilla will continue on with his basketball career.

However, the Fil-Am wingman out of Chicago has his priorities set on graduating first before he tries his luck making it in the PBA.

Taking up Business Management at the University of the East, Varilla is all set to graduate early next year. That's the goal right now.

"To graduate from school first, get my degree and continue to chase my dreams," Varilla said after the Red Warriors wrapped up their Season 79 Wednesday.

After getting his diploma, Varilla will lace up his sneakers again to try and breakthrough the PBA via the D-League. joining the draft and hopefully playing by the next conference.

"D-League first and hopefully I do well enough that the PBA might want me. Hashtag dream chaser," he said.

Saying goodbye to the Red Warriors, Varilla also said his final thanks to UE.

"I'm just so thankful for UE, for allowing me to play for them, taking me in and just giving me a chance. I'm also very thankful for the community, always there supporting," he said.
