Already coming off statement wins, Nazareth School of National University and Adamson High School are determined to make another statement while it’s still early on in the UAAP 79 Juniors Basketball Tournament.

The catch is, they will have to do so at each other’s expense.

The Bullpups and the Baby Falcons stake their spotless slates when they collide on Saturday at the San Juan Arena.

The victor of the battle beginning at 9:00 AM will be the last team standing perfect

The two teams are 3-0 after the defending champions bested Ateneo de Manila High School, 73-67, while Adamson pecked Far Eastern University-DIliman, 78-65, the last time around.

Meanwhile, both coming off their first losses in the season, the Blue Eaglets and the Baby Tamaraws dispute the opportunity for a bounce back at 11:00 AM.

SJ Belangel will lead Ateneo into battle anew while Kenji Roman will put FEU-Diliman on his back again.

In the day’s other games, Juan Gomez de Liano and University of the Philippines Integrated School look to get a winning streak going at the expense of University of the East at 3:00 PM.

At 1:00 PM, De La Salle Zobel will try once more for the first win in the post-Aljun Melecio era against Univesity of Sto. Tomas.
