League-leading Adamson aims to add more worries for Ateneo
KING OF THE HILL. Adamson is the only undefeated team in the UAAP 79 Juniors Basketball Tournament.

Games on Tuesday at the San Juan Arena

9:00 AM – UE vs FEU-Diliman

11:00 AM – Ateneo vs Adamson

1:00 PM – DLSZ vs NU

3:00 PM – UPIS vs UST

Not only is it alone atop the leaderboard in the UAAP 79 Juniors Basketball Tournament, Adamson High School also felled a couple of contenders to get there.

And yet, the Baby Falcons remain determined to add another one to their list of victims when they face Ateneo de Manila High School on Tuesday at the San Juan Arena.

Adamson stakes its spotless slate starting at 11:00 AM.

The upstart Baby Falcons took down University of the Philippines Integrated School, Far Eastern University-Diliman, and Nazareth School of National University in succession. Now, they want nothing more than to pad on their early league lead.

Things have gone the opposite way for the Blue Eagles who have dropped back-to-back outings following their season-opening win.

Meanwhile, defending champion NU wants no part of a losing streak just as De La Salle Zobel is looking to get a winning streak going.

A rematch of last year’s Finals between the Bullpups and the Junior Archers commences at 1:00 PM.

In the day’s other games, UPIS and FEU-Diliman both have their sights set on staying among the league-leaders.

To do so, the Junior Maroons will have to pull off a third consecutive victory at the expense of winless University of Sto. Tomas at 3:00 PM while the Baby Tamaraws will have to go back-to-back when they take on University of the East at 9:00 PM.
