UAAP By the Numbers: Championship charge
Raymar Jose is the anchor of FEU's latest charge to the UAAP championship. Can he push the Tamaraws back to the Finals?

Only one UAAP dream match will be realized.

Defending champion Far Eastern University made sure its version of the dream match remains in play after erasing Ateneo's twice-to-beat Final Four advantage last Saturday.

Now, the Tamaraws meet the Blue Eagles again to decide which dream match comes true by the time Game 1 of the UAAP Finals unfolds on Dec. 3.

1

Number of wins FEU has on Ateneo this season.

After getting swept in the elimination round, the Tamaraws finally got one back from the Blue Eagles and the timing couldn't be more perfect as the champs lived to fight another day.

1

Number of extra games the Tamaraws gave their head coach, Nash Racela.

With Racela headed to the PBA to coach TNT, every win for the Tamaraws from now on means that they get to keep coach Nash in the UAAP before his pro transfer.

11

Number of rebounds Raymar Jose had in the fourth quarter of FEU's Final Four win against Ateneo.

Some players are lucky to have 11 boards in one game, Jose did it in one quarter.

The FEU captain finished with 20 points, 23 rebounds, and the win. That's how to fight off elimination.

2013

The last time La Salle was in the UAAP Finals when the Green Archers beat UST in three games for the title.

Taft is back in the championship round three years later after surviving Adamson in an ugly game last Wednesday.

1999

The last time the UAAP MVP came from La Salle.

Ben Mbala is the runaway winner for Season 79 and Big Ben is the first Green Archer to win the league's top individual award since Don Allado 17 years ago.

3

Number of assists by La Salle in the Final Four win against Adamson.

That lousy number came against 26 turnovers and basically "Mayhem" got "Mayhem-ed" by the Falcons.

You can now understand why head coach Aldin Ayon was "bad trip" even after advancing to the Finals.
