Emotional Arong addresses teammates after loss to Ateneo

If there's any word that could best describe FEU's 69-68 loss to Ateneo in the hard-fought Final Four series, it would be heartbreaking.

After surviving Ateneo in Game 1, FEU proved once again that they won't go down without a fight, coming up miliseconds short of a second-straight Finals appearance.

And nothing could encapsulate the loss better than FEU guard Monbert Arong's emotional locker room talk addressed to his teammates.

Arong has been a steady offensive provider for the Tamaraws all season, and was a strong presence for the defending champions throughout the series.

And if there's anything positive for the Tamaraws to take away from the loss , it's that  coach Nash Racela, who will leave FEU for Talk N Text after this season, knows there's nothing to be ashamed of:
