ASCENT. Adamson wants nothing more than to strengthen their stranglehold on the top spot.

Games on Saturday at the San Juan Arena

9:00 AM – UPIS vs Ateneo

11:00 AM – DLSZ vs UE

1:00 PM – Adamson vs UST

3:00 PM – NU vs FEU-DIliman

With the strong stretch of their schedule already out of the way, it’s seemingly smooth sailing ahead for Adamson High School to sweep the first round of the UAAP 79 Juniors Basketball Tournament.

Planning an ambush, however, is University of Sto. Tomas.

As confident as they have ever been, the Baby Falcons remain determined to avoid any letdown when they take on the Tiger Cubs on Saturday at the San Juan Arena.

Adamson wants nothing more than to keep setting the league on fire with a sixth win in as many games. Tip-off is at 1:00 PM.

Meanwhile, both at 4-1, Nazareth School of National University and Far Eastern University-Diliman go at it at 3:00 PM with solo second up for grabs.

In the day’s other games, Ateneo de Manila High School looks to get a winning streak going at the expense of University of the Philippines Integrated School at 9:00 AM while De La Salle Zobel and University of the East fight over the right to return to the win column at 11:00 AM.
