NESTING. The last two Players of the Week hail from Adamson High.
Encho Serrano’s star has shone so bright that many of us has been blinded from the fact that there’s actually another emergent talent in Adamson High School.
Gerry Abadiano sure made us remember all about him last Saturday.
Tallying a season-high 21 points in 80 shooting to go along with four rebounds, the Baby Falcon fueled his team right through University of the East and all the way to a still spotless standing of 6-0.
Announcing his arrival in the UAAP Juniors, Abadiano left no doubt in claiming the Player of the Week plum from November 28 to December 4. He bested teammate Serrano, Ateneo de Manila High School’s Jason Credo, and Nazareth School of National University’s John Lloyd Clemente.
Behind the newly-minted Player of the Week, Adamson remained the pacesetters in the tournament. “Basta tuloy-tuloy lang po kami sa ginagawa namin,” he said.
