FEU eyeing share of top spot in men's football rankings

4:00 PM - Adamson vs. FEU (Men's)
6:00 PM - FEU vs. UST (Women's)
Far Eastern University will try to join Ateneo in the top spot of the men's football rankings when they look for a win against Adamson University in UAAP men's football action, Saturday, 4:00 PM at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium.
The Tamaraw booters are coming off an opening weekend win against University of Santo Tomas, wherein sophomore standouts Val Jurao and Rico Andes took control and provided the winning conversions. Senior midfielder Paolo Bugas, who's on his last stand with the green and gold, said in the previous match that they wanted to start the season strong and managed to do so with their opening weekend win. Can they keep the momentum up and make it two in a row?
Adamson on the other hand, will try to bounce back from their opening weekend loss at the hands of current league-leaders Ateneo.
With a young core which includes the Jumo twins and skipper Jackson Ramos, the Falcons look to continuosly improve in their third year back in the football program.
They'll have their hands full this Saturday however, against the former back-to-back champions.
The Women's Division kicks off
Saturday also marks the start of women's football action, with defending champions University of the Philippines beginning their title-defense campaign against Katipunan rivals Ateneo De Manila at 2:00 PM, while former three-peat champions Far Eastern University begin their road back to the championship against University of Santo Tomas at 6:00 PM.
