FEU tries to remain perfect in UAAP men's football
Val Jurao (29) and Rico Andes (7) have helped the FEU Tamaraw to a perfect record so far in UAAP Season 79 men's football

Former back-to-back champions Far Eastern University try to keep their hot streak alive as they go for their fourth straight win, this time against the struggling De La Salle University, in UAAP Season 79 men's football action, Thursday afternoon at the Moro Lorenzo Football Field in Ateneo.

The Tamaraws have gotten off to a strong start in Season 79, racking up win after win after win. In their last outing, the lowest-scoring win of FEU so far this season, they bested National University, 1-0, while missing the services of senior Paolo Bugas and skipper Val Jurao among others.

Season 79 has been a nightmare for the Green Archers on the other hand. After holding defending champs University of the Philippines to a scoreless draw and then taking down University of the East, the Taft-based team suffered back-to-back losses, first from rivals Ateneo, and then to Adamson in a stunning upset.

Can the Green Archers turn it around, or will the Tamaraws continue to charge through the opposition?

In the earlier matchup of Thursday's double-header, Adamson, fresh off their upset win over De La Salle, will try to keep their momentum going against University of Santo Tomas.

After dropping their first two matches, the Falcons got a shot much-needed momentum by soaring past the Green Archers, thanks to a game-deciding goal from Ejike Ugowke.

The España-based Tigers on the other hand, have struggled mightily in Season 79, losing three of their first four matches.

Can Adamson pull off another upset, or will UST get back on the win column?
