UE scores late to earn first win of men's football season
University of the East scored their first win in UAAP Season 79 Men' football after getting past Adamson, 2-1

Alberto Echin scored with a minute left in regulation to help the struggling University of the East Red Warriors beat the Adamson Falcons and earn their first win of the UAAP Season 79 Men's Football season, Thursday morning at the Moro Lorenzo Football Field in Ateneo. 

UE took control early in the match, with Mark Anthony Lerion hitting just seven minutes into the first half of play. 

Just before the half however, Ejike Ugwoke leveled the score for the Soaring Falcons, scoring the equalizer in the 41st minute. 

In the 89th minute, Echin found the go-ahead conversion to seal the UE win, the first under the Fitch Arboleda era. 

UE improves to one win, one draw, and four losses for four points in Season 79.

Adamson on the other hand, drops to one win and five losses for three points.
