5:00 PM - Ateneo vs. DLSU (Women's)

The last two remaining unbeaten teams in UAAP season 79 women's football go head to head, as collegiate rivals Ateneo and De La Salle battle for hold of the top spot in the rankings. 

The Lady Eagles have started the season strong, taking down the defending champions University of the Philippines on opening day, and the following it up with a high-scoring 4-3 win over Far Eastern University. Team captain Camille Rodriguez has been leading the way for the Lady Eagles, scoring a hat trick in their last outing.

 

Also coming off a high scoring win are the DLSU Lady Archers, who went on to a 6-2 win over the UST Lady Tigers after opening the season also with a win over defending champs UP. Kyra Dimaandal, Kyla Inquig, Sara Castañeda and Nicole Andaya have been consistent this season so far, each managing two goals each in the Lady Archers' first two outings. 

The Lady Eagles and Lady Archers are currently tied at first place with two wins each for six points. 

In the earlier match of the afternoon, the UST Lady Tigresses try to pick up their second straight win against the struggling UP Lady Maroons.
