Far Eastern University squares off with winless Adamson.

Far Eastern University hopes to erase the embarrassment it received the last time out when the Lady Tamaraws cross paths with listless Adamson Lady Falcons in the 79th UAAP women’s volleyball tournament at the Big Dome on Sunday.

Opening serve is at 2:00 p.m. airing live on ABS-CBN S+A Channel 23, ABS-CBN S+A HD Channel 166 and via livestream.

The Lady Tams absorbed a 5-25, 23-25, 23-25 beating at the hands of the defending champion De La Salle Lady Spikers last Wednesday.

FEU’s five-point output in the first set is the second worst set production since University of the East’s 2-25, 15-25, 8-25, whipping at the hands of University of Sto. Tomas back in January 9, 2010.

Bernadeth Pons, who was limited to only eight points last game, Toni Basas, Remy Palma and Jerrili Malabanan have to get their acts together to get back on the winning track and duplicate its first round win over the Lady Falcons.

FEU is on a two-way tie with University of the Philippines at fifth to sixth place with even 4-4 win-loss slates.

The Lady Falcons are winless in eight games, dropping a straight sets match against National University last Wednesday.
