De La Salle University aims for back-to-back wins in the second round of UAAP Season 78 Men's Football when they take on University of the East in the first game of a Sunday tripleheader at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
After a rough first round, the Green Archers began round two on the right track with a 2-0 revenge win over Adamson University. They now look to make it two in a row as they try to inch closer to a final four berth.
Standing across the field will be the Red Warriors who are also looking to bounce back after starting the second round with a loss to University of Santo Tomas. Currently  with five points in the tournament, all is not lost yet for UE as they also try to make a run at a final four spot.
In their last meeting, DLSU handily beat UE, 2-0.
DLSU and UE kick things off at 2:00 PM.
In the evening matchup, UST tries to tighten their grip at fourth place when they take on Adamson.
Finally putting things together after a slow start, the Growling Tigers have clawed their way back up to the fourth seed, and with NU, who's very close behind,  recently losing to Ateneo, a win for UST will create some separation between the two clubs.
The struggles continue for the Falcons this season, but it doesn't mean that they haven't shown improvement. With the season still far from over, Adamson still has the chance to pick things up and build l bit of momentum.
In their last meeting, UST demolished Adamson, 3-0.
UST and Adamson meet at 7:00 PM
In the women's division, former three-peat champions Far Eastern University try to finally get on the win column as they face Ateneo.
It hasn't been a good start for the Lady Tamaraws who, after failing to make the Finals last season, have yet to win a single match this year. Currently at the bottom of the standings, FEU tries to salvage the season by getting a win streak going.
After starting off the season with two straight Ws, Ateneo went on to drop their next two for a third place finish after the first round. The Lady Eagles will be looking to get back to winning
In their first round encounter, Ateneo downed FEU behind a hattrick from skipper Cam Rodriguez.
FEU and Ateneo take to the pitch at 5:00 PM
