Thirdy Ravena and the Blue Eagles have taken over the UAAP.
Everybody's busy handing trophies already to La Salle that one particular contender has been unfairly forgotten.
However, it's about time to give the Blue Eagles, the other finalist last season by the way, the respect they deserve in 2017.
An actual contender, Ateneo has been on a rather quiet rampage in the first round, winning six straight games to start and will head to its annual rivalry game against the Green Archers undefeated.
It's amazing how the only undefeated team in the field has received little attention. Well, let's start changing that right about now.

After the Tamaraws' impressive 78-59 win over the Fighting Maroons, it can be safe to say that FEU owns this "rivalry" as well.
