DLSU out to push NU to the brink of elimination

Games on Saturday at the Araneta Coliseum

2:00 PM – Ateneo vs UST

4:00 PM – DLSU vs NU

The last time De La Salle University and National University met in the UAAP 80 Men’s Basketball Tournament, the two teams went at each other in a scintillating shootout.

With the Bulldogs now fighting for their playoff lives and the Green Archers now fighting for a playoff incentive, their second round duel scheduled for Saturday at the Araneta Coliseum just got more interesting.

A win for DLSU (10-2) will give them the remaining twice-to-beat advantage for the next round while a win for NU (4-7) will keep them alive and kicking for the Final Four in their matchup tipping off at 4:00 PM. All of the action will be on S+A, S+A HD, and livestream.

Meanwhile, Ateneo de Manila University eyes to fly higher by jumping on winless University of Sto. Tomas at 2:00 PM.

In Women’s action, the NU Lady Bulldogs (10-0) seek to continue their domination up against the UP Lady Maroons (0-10) at 8:00 AM while the Adamson Lady Falcons (4-7) seek to fan the flames of their playoff hopes up against the Ateneo Lady Eagles (3-7) at 10:00 AM. Both games are at the Blue Eagle Gym in Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City.
