Champion Archers, not sweep, dominate the minds of undefeated Eagles

Given the choice, the Eagles would like to once again set aside the sweep for a while and just mainly focus on taking on the champs who also happen to be their most bitter rivals.
Ateneo has been talking about taking its season one game at a time.
But now, the Blue Eagles are 13-0 in the 80th Season of the UAAP so they have no other choice but to talk about a possible sweep.
Ateneo also has an upcoming rivalry game against defending champion De La Salle University so Katipunan's undisputed top team will have to talk about that too.
And given the choice, the Eagles would like to once again set aside the sweep for a while and just mainly focus on taking on the champs who also happen to be their most bitter rivals.
With or without a sweeping looming, an Ateneo-De La Salle game is already stressful as it is, why make it harder for yourself, right?
"I think the mere fact that it's Ateneo-La Salle, that's what we're gonna focus on, not necessarily the sweep," top deputy Sandy Arespacochaga said.
"An Ateneo-La Salle game is big enough already, so that's what we're gonna focus on, our opponents. Our record, what we've done in the past, doesn't matter now," he added.
Still, the Eagles are on the verge of barging through the Finals with an undefeated record.
But their mentality will be the same even if the team is going for a sweep or taking on their bitter rivals. The Ateneo mentality has won 13 straight already, why change now.
"Blame coach Tab," Arespacochaga jokingly said before turning serious.
"But that's been our mindset so we won't change anything. One game at a time," he added.
