Following the departure of the UST Growling Tigers coaching staff, the team's practices will temporarily be handled by Tigresses assistant coach Arsenio Dysangco.
Though nothing has been made official yet, Dysangco, a former assistant coach with the women's national basketball team, also under current Tigresses head coach Haydee Ong, said that he has been tapped by the UST Institute of Physical Education and Athletics to temporarily oversee the team's daily practices.
"We're only a good soldier of the school, so whatever we can help, susunod lang tayo sa sasabihin ni Father [Jannel Abogado, IPEA head], Dysangco said after the step-ladder game between the Tigresses and the UE Lady Warriors.
The former Big Chill Superchargers head coach meanwhile is ready if the school may ask him for next year's coaching staff, with the search starting in the early part of next year.
"You know, I studied in UST, and after noong [1-13 season], I feel for the school, with all my coaching experience with coach Yeng Guiao, with the PBA, with the national team before, with the women's team, I would like to help in whatever way that I can. It's all for the UST community and love for the school. I would gladly sacrifice para sa school. "
