No regrets for Tolentino after his final play in regulation
Despite his final attempt at the basket, or lack thereof, Tolentino was pretty confident about his chances if he didn't end up making one tiny mistake.

Arvin Tolentino had 8.5 seconds to sink his old school and put his new school in the UAAP Finals.

After the last 8.5 seconds in regulation, he never got a shot off and his FEU Tamaraws ended up losing a classic Final Four game to the Ateneo Blue Eagles in overtime.

Despite his final attempt at the basket, or lack thereof, Tolentino was pretty confident about his chances if he didn't end up making one tiny mistake.

"Honestly, naisip ko mananalo kami but when I felt na andun na yung tira ko yung split second na tumingin ako sa clock yun na yung naging factor kung bakit ko nabitawan yung bola," he said.

"Super confident ako na mananalo kami especially on that 8.5 seconds binigay sakin ni coach yung tira pero unfortunately, turnover," Tolentino added.

Despite the late-game blunder, Arvin says he has no regrets from his decision to take it upon himself to decide the game in regulation.

"Hindi naman ako nasisisi sa moment na yun pero wala eh part of the game yung mga ganun," he said.

"Siguro pinagsisisihan ko lang bat pa ako na tumingin sa oras," Tolentino added.
