Tamaraws, Eagles dispute Finals seat opposite Archers

Game on Wednesday at the MOA Arena

4:00 PM – FEU vs Ateneo

Don’t look now, but Far Eastern University is playing its best basketball now in the Final Four of the UAAP 80 Men’s Basketball Tournament.

On the other hand, erstwhile league-leading Ateneo de Manila University is on its first losing skid in the season.

The Tamaraws hope to continue charging all the way into the Finals, but to do so, will have to yet again down the still determined Blue Eagles in their knockout bout on Wednesday at the MOA Arena.

A Finals seat opposite De La Salle University is at stake when FEU clashes with Ateneo at 4:00 PM and all of the action will be on S+A, S+A HD, and livestream.

The Tamaraws downed the Blue Eagles, 80-67, last Sunday to set up this do-or-die matchup.

Along with that big-time win, Ron Dennison and company were also coming off a convincing victory versus playoff team Adamson University.

Still, Thirdy Ravena and his teammates have much confidence coming from their 13-0 start to the season.

In Women’s action, twice-to-beat University of the East looks to book its first-ever trip to the Finals as it takes on the challenge from resurgent University of Sto. Tomas at 11:00 AM.
