UAAP Finals: Taft Avenue turns blue after Ateneo’s championship win
Sportsmanship was on display both on and off the court between archrivals Ateneo and DLSU
Not even an hour after Ateneo de Manila University took away its crown in the UAAP 80 Men’s Basketball Tournament, De La Salle University showed the highest form of sportsmanship.
The front of the St. La Salle Building in Taft Avenue was decked in blue lights not long after the Blue Eagles bested the Green Archers, 88-86, on Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum.

Without a doubt, the rivalry only stayed on the court as DLSU had nothing but respect for Ateneo which topped them, three games to two, in a classic season series that was as tight as it could ever be.
