It's a Finals rematch between FEU-Diliman and NU as well as a crucial contest between undefeated Ateneo and upstart UST to begin the second round

Games on Saturday at the Filoil Flying V Centre

9:00 AM – NU vs FEU-Diliman

11:00 AM – Ateneo vs UST

3:00 PM – UPIS vs Adamson

When the UAAP 80 Juniors Basketball Tournament goes back to action, it will really go back to action.

The tournament’s first game day of 2018 on Saturday at the Filoil Flying V Centre will feature showdowns between top team Ateneo de Manila High School and third-ranked University of Sto. Tomas as well as second-running Nazareth School of National University and fourth-place Far Eastern University-Diliman.

SJ Belangel, Kai Sotto, and the Blue Eaglets will go at it with MVP frontrunner CJ Cansino and his Tiger Cubs at 11:00 AM.

Ateneo is undefeated thus far in the tournament and owns an average winning margin in double-digits. That’s not discouraging 5-2 UST, however, as it has the league’s biggest breakout star in Cansino

Meanwhile, the Bullpups, led by Rhayyan Amsali, are determined to bounce back from a forfeiture of their win via a convincing victory versus L-Jay Gonzales and the defending champion Baby Tamaraws at 9:00 AM.

NU fell to 5-2 after a league decision overturned one of its wins. Looking to take advantage of that setback is FEU-Diliman which wants nothing more than to improve on its 4-3 standing.

In the day’s other games, Adamson High School (3-4) takes on University of the Philippines Integrated School (1-6) at 3:00 PM while De La Salle Zobel (2-5) takes on University of the East (1-6) at 1:00 PM.
