Ateneo de Manila High School continues to pace the 80th Season of the UAAP Juniors Basketball Tournament.

The Blue Eaglets seek to strengthen their stranglehold on the top spot when they take to the air to take on Adamson High School on Wednesday at the Filoil Flying V Centre.

The kids from Katipunan are undefeated after eight games are three wins away from clinching a semifinals slot – and six wins away from completing an elimination round sweep.

SJ Belangel, Dave Ildefonso, Kai Sotto, and the rest of Ateneo want nothing more than to move forward even as they are challenged by the 4-4 Baby Falcons who have been surprisingly competitive under new head coach Mike Fermin at 3:00 PM.

Meanwhile, Nazareth School of National University, University of Sto. Tomas, and Far Eastern University-Diliman are also looking to stay right where they are in the standings up against separate opponents.

The 6-2 Bullpups are determined to remain at solo second when they take on 3-5 De La Salle Zobel at 1:00 PM.

The 5-3 Tiger Cubs are determined to bounce back and tighten their grip of third when they take on 1-7 University of the Philippines Integrated School at 9:00 AM.

The 4-4 Baby Tamaraws are also determined for a mighty rebound that would reclaim for them sole possession of fourth-place when they take on 1-7 University of the East at 11:00 AM.
