Despite banking on head coach Tai Bundit's conditioning style in practice, Sherwin Menses added that the actual game is still much more different than a perfect practice session.
Ateneo Lady Eagles head coach Tai Bundit was happy on the adjustments the team had made in their 25-19, 21-25, 25-18, 20-25, 9-15 loss against the FEU Lady Tamaraws, according to assistant coach Sherwin Meneses.
The Thai coach reiterated his 'fighting fighting' mantra to the team, and hopes to see it in the rest of the season.
"First game eh. Bawi na lang. Sabi ni Coach Tai every game "fighting" lang kung di ibibigay yung panalo, wala tayo magagawa dun," Meneses said after the game.
Despite banking on Bundit's conditioning style in practice, Menses added that the actual game is still much more different than a perfect practice session.
"Every game namin di namin sinasabi na mananalo. Every game lalaban."
Menses also mentioned Ateneo's strengths and weaknesses against FEU, and hopes to rectify them against the NU Lady Bulldogs on Saturday.
"I think yung counter attack namin medyo maganda kasi yung first attack hindi maganda dahil sa receive pero yung counter attack at block medyo okay."
