Ateneo de Manila High School and Nazareth School of National University are already assured of the top two seeds in the 80th Season of the UAAP Juniors Basketball Tournament.

On Wednesday, the Blue Eaglets go all-out to secure the top-seed when they take on lowly University of the East on their home court in Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City.

The league-leaders remain undefeated after 12 games and are two more wins away from a clean sweep of the elimination round and an automatic advance into the championship round.

Kai Sotto, SJ Belangel, Dave Ildefonso, and company want nothing more in their game tipping off at 1:00 PM other than to keep going ahead of a crucial contest against the Bullpups to end the eliminations.

NU (10-2) only wants the exact same thing as it figures in a showdown with dangerous Adamson High School (6-6) at 9:00 AM.

Rhayyan Amsali and his teammates have rung off five wins in a row and seek to stretch their streak before they try to prevent Ateneo’s elims sweep on Sunday.

Meanwhile, 7-5 Far Eastern University-Diliman eyes to strengthen its stranglehold of the third-seed up against 3-9 University of the Philippines Integrated School at 11:00 AM while 6-6 University of Sto. Tomas eyes a much-needed bounce back at the expense of 3-9 De La Salle Zobel at 3:00 PM.
