NU has to go through Season MVP CJ Cansino and UST for a spot opposite undefeated Ateneo in the Finals

4:00 PM – NU vs UST

MVP CJ Cansino and University of Sto. Tomas have won three straight elimination games now in the stretch run of the 80th Season of the UAAP Juniors Basketball Tournament.

Up next for them, however, is their biggest game of the season yet against well-rested Nazareth School of National University.

The twice-to-beat Bullpups are out to douse cold, cold water on the burning hopes of the Tiger Cubs on Tuesday at the Filoil Flying V Centre.

On the other hand, Cansino and company are out to survive anew after the game tipping off at 4:00 PM. All of the action will be on S+A, S+A HD, and

UST needed to beat Far Eastern University-Diliman to end the eliminations, Adamson High School to earn the fourth-seed, and then FEU-Diliman again to move on up the stepladder. With the Season MVP and his mates now having found their form, they are nothing but confident they can win another elimination game.

That’s easier said than done, though, up against NU who have had a week to rest and prepare. More than that, Rhayyan Amsali and the rest of the powerhouse team are already eagerly looking forward to a showdown with Ateneo de Manila High School in the Finals.
