UAAP volleyball: Blue Eagles hunt for fourth straight win
Defending champion Ateneo de Manila University looks to stretch its winning run to four and climb to solo second spot.

Three-time defending champion Ateneo de Manila University sets its sights on extending its winning streak to four and to move up to solo second Wednesday in a clash with Adamson University in the 80th UAAP men’s volleyball tournament at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

The Blue Eagles are back in their dangerous form, storming past their last three opponents after opening the season with a straight sets loss to unbeaten Far Eastern University.

Ateneo is perched in a three-way tie at second to fourth spots, holding a 3-1 win-loss record beside National University and University of Sto. Tomas.

Game time is at 8:00 a.m. and will air live on LIGA on SkyCable Channel 86, LIGA HD on SkyCable Channel 183 and via livestream.

The Blue Eagles cruised past University of the East, 25-20, 25-17, 25-15, last Saturday.

Adamson, on the other hand, is coming off a 20-25, 21-25, 25-14, 22-25, loss to UST on Sunday. The Falcons are on a three-way logjam at 1-3 slate with De La Salle University and University of the Philippines.

Meanwhile, winless UE takes on DLSU at 10:00 a.m.

The match will air live on ABS-CBN S+A Channel 23, ABS-CBN S+A HD Channel 166, LIGA on SkyCable Channel 86, LIGA HD on SkyCable Channel 183 and via livestream.
