Kai Sotto was a man among boys, swatting away 11 shots on top of 22 points, 16 rebounds.
Kai Sotto may be younger than most of his fellow players on the court during Game 1 of the UAAP juniors basketball Finals, but he easily towered above them all.
Standing at 7'2", the 15-year-old center used his length and developing defensive instincts to stamp his presence and to swing the game towards Ateneo's favor after a slot start.
Sotto tallied a triple-double with 22 points, 16 rebounds, and 11 blocks as the Blue Eaglets took down the NU Bullpups to move one win closer to the championship.

Sotto manned the paint at both ends. Along with countless dunks and plays above the rim, the towering teen also caused massive problems for NU's slashers, while also giving them all a not-so-friendly update on the progress of his game.
