The Lady Falcons claimed their ninth win in ten outings.
Krisha Cantor shone as defending champion Adamson University clinched the first Final Four berth with a 2-1 win over University of Santo Tomas in the UAAP Season 80 softball tournament Monday at the Rizal Memorial Baseball Stadium.
With bases loaded in the bottom seventh, Cantor delivered the winning RBI off Ann Antolihao, sending pinch runner Ivy Capistrano home to help the Lady Falcons punch their ninth win in 10 matches.
The Tigresses fell at 7-3 but remained in second spot.

Imee Salvador homered for the Lady Warriors to tie the game at 1-1 in the bottom first before Gabby Macatulad and Ingrid Laurel scored runs to give the Lady Eagles a 3-1 lead in the top third.
UE was able to net another run courtesy by Leslie Latina in the top sixth but Ateneo showed tremendous composure late in the game to end a 10-game losing skid.
In baseball Sunday, De La Salle University overpowered UST, 11-1, to solidify its hold of top spot with a 6-1 card.
Titleholder Ateneo nipped NU, 5-3, while Adamson University rout UP, 13-3, to further tighten the race for the two championship berths up for grabs.
