UAAP 80 Men’s Football: UP, UST stake unbeaten records
Can UST keep their unbeaten record intact when they take on UST?

MATCHES ON THURSDAY, MARCH 1 (Rizal Memorial Football Stadium)

9:00 AM - UP vs. DLSU (Men’s)

2:00 PM - Adamson vs. Ateneo (Men’s)

4:00 PM - UST vs. UE (Men’s)

University of the Philippines and University of Santo Tomas put their unbeaten records at stake once more as they take on tough challenges as the UAAP Season 80 men’s football tournament rolls on this Thursday, March 1, at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium.

In the first match of the day, the Fighting Maroons try to stay unbeaten as they take on the De La Salle University Green Archers.

After taking down National University a week ago, the Maroons get ready for a tough test as they face a Green Archers side who’s looking to bounce back after a stunning 2-0 loss to UST, Sunday.

UP currently holds the top spot with four wins and a draw for 13 points, while DLSU sits at fourth with three wins and two losses.

UP and DLSU kick off at 9:00 AM.

Later that afternoon, defending champions Ateneo de Manila Blue Eagles try to get a win streak going as they face the struggling Adamson University Soaring Falcons

After a 1-0 loss to UST, the Blue Eagles bounced back with a 5-0 demolition of UE and look to do the same to the Soaring Falcons, who have yet to produce any points this season.

Ateneo currently sits at third place with a three win-two loss card for nine points, while Adamson sits at the bottom of the standings with five losses and zero points.

Ateneo and Adamson kick off at 2:00 PM.

In the final match of the day, UST targets win number five against University of the East.

Off to their best start in a while, the Growling Tigers have already taken down contenders such as Ateneo and DLSU, as well as Season 79 finalists FEU, and are looking to keep their record spotless ahead of their round-ending showdown with fellow-top seed UP. The Growling Tigers on the other hand have struggled after their impressive start. Coming off back-to-back losses, the Red Warriors will try to get back on track against UST.

UST sits behind UP for the top spot with four wins and a draw, while UE is at seventh place with a win, a draw, and three losses.

UST and UE kick off at 4:00 PM.
