Ateneo, NU wage all-out war for championship
Kai Sotto and Ateneo will go at it with Michael Malonzo and NU one last time for all the glory

Game on Friday at the Filoil Flying V Centre

4:00 PM – Ateneo vs NU

It has come to this – no favorite, no underdog in the very last game of the 80th Season of the UAAP Juniors Basketball Tournament.

Once undefeated Ateneo de Manila High will pull out all the stops to salvage a championship up against a Nazareth School of National Side which has both momentum and confidence favoring it heading into the Filoil Flying V Centre on Friday.

The winner-take-all Game 3 tips off at 4:00 PM and all of the action will be on S+A, S+A HD, and livestream.

What was once a supposed dream season sweep for the Blue Eaglets turned into a nightmare as they were outworked by the Bullpups in Game 2 last Tuesday.

On the back of the frontline of Rhayyan Amsali, Pao Javillonar, Michael Malonzo, and Robert Minerva, NU did what no other team was able to do in the tournament. Now, they are one win away from an unlikely title.

Also one win from the championship they were long seemingly destined for, however, are the Blue Eaglets. While they fell short of one of the most dominant seasons in league history, Mythical selections SJ Belangel, Dave Ildefonso, and Kai Sotto just need to get back into their groove to come away with the ultimate prize.

Ateneo still leads the season series, 3-1, but NU owns the most recent and arguably the biggest win in their head-to-head matchups.
