UAAP VOLLEYBALL: Adamson takes second win, keeps UE winless
Adamson University bagged its second win at the expense of winless University of the East.

Adamson University made quick work of University of the East, 25-16, 25-18, 25-12, for its second win in the 80th UAAP men’s volleyball tournament Sunday at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

The Falcons joined University of the Philippines at sixth to seventh place with a 2-5 win-loss record.

Paolo Pablico fired 20 points anchored on 16 attacks and four kill blocks, Royce Bello chipped in with 16 markers while Leo Miranda had nine points for Adamson, which avenged its start of Season 79 second round elims loss to the Red Warriors.

The Falcons rained down 46 attack points while clogging the net to score 10 kill blocks to add more woes to the winless Recto-based squad.

UE dropped its seventh straight match this season and 13th overall since last year.

No Red Warrior scored in double figures with Clifford Inoferio listing eight points. Kim Adriano had seven markers while Geric Ortega, Noel Alba and Bom Patacsil combined for 12 markers.
