Adamson University kept its Final Four bid alive after completing an elimination round sweep of University of the East Saturday in the 80th UAAP men's volleyball tournament at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
The Falcons opened the second round with a 25-20, 25-17, 25-15, win that duplicated their rout of the Red Warriors last week in their first meeting.
Leo Miranda scored all but one of his 12 points on attacks while Paolo Pablico got 11 markers, hammering all of his production on kills, as Adamson improved to 3-5 win-loss slate.
Philip Yude had 11 points for the San Marcelino-based squad, who fired 47 attack points to submit UE in 74 minutes.
The Red Warriors remained winless in eight games and are on the brink of packing up for an early vacation.
Kim Adriano, team captain Geric Ortega and Maric Balquiedra scored seven each for UE.
