DLSU remains on track in Final Four race
De La Salle University remained on the right track for a Final Four seat.

The race for the remaining three Final Four berths in the 80th UAAP men's volleyball tournament just got tighter.

De La Salle University climbed to a three-way logjam at fourth to sixth spots after the Green Spikers' dominating 25-23, 25-17, 25-15 win over winless University of the East Wednesday at the FilOil Flying Centre in San Juan.

The Taft-based squad tied Admson University and University of Sto. Tomas with 4-6 win-loss record behind semis-bound National University (9-1), three-time defending champion Ateneo de Manila University (7-2) and Far Eastern University (7-2).

FEU and Ateneo are both assured of at least a Final Four berth playoff.

Arjay Onia unloaded 16 kills his 18-point outing while Raymark Woo got 14 markers off 11 kills, two aces and a kill block for the Green Spikers, who hammered 40 points on kills. Cris Dumago added nine points.

DLSU added more woes to an also-ran Red Warriors.

UE remained listless in 10 games.

No Red Warrior scored in double figures with Alven Aljas and Geric Ortega combining for 15 points.
