A win by the Bulldogs over the Maroons, whom they defeated in four sets last in the opening round, will push NU closer to a twice-to-beat semis advantage.
UP is on the brink of elimination in the race for the last Final Four slot with a 3-8 slate and is on a three-game losing slump. The Maroons absorbed a 26-24, 15-25, 18-25, 29-31, loss to the Blue Eagles last March 24.
Adamson and University of Sto. Tomas are tied at 5-6 card while the Green Spikers hold a 4-7 slate.
