"Ang worry ko talaga is magseset ng magandang tempo yung UE kasi kailangan nila yung three points na 'to." Ateneo head coach Jaypee Merida said following the match. "Yung sabi ko nga sa team, kailangan namin mag-ready kasi hindi pupunta ang UE today just to finish the season. Importante yung three points sa kanila."

Ateneo improves to nine wins, one draw and two losses for 28 points in the season.
