The DLSU Green Archers will look like a completely new squad if Tyrus Hill and Kurt Lojera do transfer.
De La Salle University may have lost Ricci Rivero, but it looks like the Green Archers are already gearing up for an upcoming rebuild.
Former Adamson Soaring Falcon Tyrus Hill raised speculation online about his apparent transfer to Taft after a photo of him, and fellow Filipino-American Kurt Lojera surfaced wearing DLSU shirts was posted by a La Salle supporters group Twitter account, and was confirmed by Matthew Li of Tiebreaker Times.
Adamson assistant coach and former DLSU Green Archer Don Allado Tweeted a statement that may hint to the cagers' upcoming move.
It's okay if you want to leave. You know what's best for you. However there is a proper way to do it. Never burn bridges not worth burning.— Don C Allado (@alotofDON) April 3, 2018
Hill, an ultra-athletic forward known for his highlight reel dunks, spent one year in the UAAP as a key piece in Adamson's Final Four run in season 80.
The 6'5" wingman normed 4.4 points, 2.9 rebounds in a shade over 13 minutes during his lone year with Adamson.
Lojera, a 6'1" guard, had per-game stats of 4.9 points, 2.5 rebounds in 15.5 minutes.
If they do complete the move, they both will have two playing years left, and will be eligible to suit up for La Salle as soon as Season 82.
Earlier last month, guard Jordan Bartlett moved from the NU Bulldogs to DLSU.
