UAAP VOLLEYBALL: FEU hopes to keep semis advantage bid alive
Far Eastern University is focused on keeping their hopes alive for a semifinals twice-to-beat advantage.

Already assured of a spot in the Final Four, Far Eastern University now sets its eyes on securing a semis twice-to-beat advantage in the 80th UAAP women’s volleyball tournament Wednesday at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

The Lady Tamaraws need to sweep their last two assignments starting with the also-ran University of the East match at 4:00 p.m. to force at least a playoff for the Final Four incentive.

The action will air live on ABS-CBN S+A Channel 23, ABS-CBN S+A HD Channel 166, LIGA on SkyCable Channel 86, LIGA HD on SkyCable Channel 183 and via livestream.

FEU holds an 8-4 win-loss record at solo third spot and are coming off a 25-22, 25-27, 14-25, 25-22, 15-11 win over Adamson University last Saturday.

Victories by the Tams over the Lady Warriors and National University on Sunday coupled by either a loss by defending champion De La Salle University (10-2) in its last two assignment or a defeat by Ateneo de Manila University against the Lady Spikers (9-4) will give FEU a chance of a playoff for the semis advantage.

UE is on a four-game losing slump and carrying a 2-10 card.
