UAAP 80 Men's Football: FEU charges past AdU to end season
FEU's Arnel Amita ends his UAAP career with a goal and a win.

Far Eastern University capped off a difficult season with a 3-2 win over Adamson University, Thursday afternoon at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium.

Rookie Harold Alcoresa made his presence felt early on as he paced the Tamaraws in the first half, heading in a cross from Tin-Tin Salilig in the 14th minute.

Alcoresa stayed hot as he doubled his output and the Tamaraws' lead in the 34th minute.

With less than ten minutes left in regulation, Jusuel Pilarca pulled one back for Adamson to make the match a little more interesting.

In the final minute of regulation, graduating midfielder Arnel Amita ended his UAAP football career with a strike from just inside the box to make it a 3-1 advantage and close the door on an Adamson comeback.

The Soaring Falcons weren't done yet however, as Jesus Cayadong added to Adamson's score in the second minute of injury time.

After ninety minutes, the Tamaraws held on for their third win to close out the season.

"I just told them, today enjoy and [be confident], it's the finish and I don't want the team to go down," said FEU coach Bo Bae Park.

FEU ends Season 80 with 13 points off three wins, four draws, and seven losses.

Adamson drops all of their 14 matches in Season 80 to finish scoreless.
