Without a doubt, University of the East has a lot to catch up on, only having named its new head coach a month ago.
That is exactly why the Red Warriors and new mentor Joe Silva made it a point to get together for some training and bonding in China.
Everybody from Silva to lead assistant Gian Nazario and from main man Alvin Pasaol to court general Philip Manalang evidently enjoyed their stay in Quanzhou, Fujian Province.

And after the six-day trip, Silva is nothing but glad to report that their time there was “very fruitful.”
That is only good news for the Recto-based school which is nothing but determined for a return to its glory days.
