Legendary DLSU Football coach Hans Smit recovering from heart procedure
Get well soon, Coach Hans!
Long-time De La Salle University football coach Hans-Peter Smit is currently on the road to recovery after undergoing an Angioplasty procedure last earlier this week at tha Asian Hospital.
The procedure came after Smit suffered two minor heart attacks due to two blocked major arteries.
Smit, who has long handled the DLSU Men's and Women's football teams, led his women's squad to a second-straight championship back in UAAP Season 80.
Now, Smit appears to have gotten through the procedure without any hitches, and is back to following his favorite sport on TV.

A funding page has been set up for Smit with hopes of raising enough money to help with the the expenses for the procedure and treatment.
