UAAP: Struggling Paul Desiderio hopes to find groove in next games

Team captain Paul Desiderio vows to bounce back for State U.
It has not been a kind UAAP Season 81 men's basketball tournament thus far for UP Fighting Maroons team captain Paul Desiderio.
A season removed from his magical campaign for the Bo Perasol-mentored squad, the forward has been averaging 10.7 points per game, including a six-point performance in their 69-68 loss to the streaking Adamson Falcons.
What's worse is that he could not find his shot, just hitting on 3 of 11 shots for a 27-percent shooting clip, including 0 for 4 from three-point distance.
Now sporting a 1-3 card, Desiderio is not sounding the alarm for the team, but for himself, and vows to bounce back for State U.
"Wala naman problema sa team, siguro ang problema sa individual, tulad ko, yun nga kumbaga nagsstruggle ako the past few games hopefully makuha ko yung rhythm ko in the next few games," he said after the game.
So what is Desiderio's way of trying to rise from his shooting slump?
"More shots, more confidence pa para makabawi."
