Sisi Rondina and partner Blove Barbon of the UST Sand Tigresses not only have a perfect 6-0 card, but have also yet to drop a set in the UAAP Season 80 Beach Volleyball tournament.
Defending champion University of Santo Tomas moved on the cusp of completing a seven-match sweep Tuesday in the UAAP Season 81 beach volleyball tournament at Sands SM By The Bay.

Sisi Rondina and Babylove Barbon made quick work of National University's Klymince Orillaneda and Antonette Landicho, 21-12, 21-7, before returning in the afternoon with a swift 21-7, 21-11 conquest of Adamson University's Hannah Nicole Infante and Gracelchen Ave.

Aside from holding a perfect 6-0 card, the Tigresses have yet to drop a set this season.

UST shoots for an outright passage in the best-of-three championship series with a victory over Far Eastern University at 10:40 a.m. on Friday.

De La Salle University's Tin Tiamzon and Michelle Morente, meanwhile, overpowered University of the East's Lyen Shan Ritual and Donna Nebrea, 21-4, 21-5.  

The Lady Spikers tied the Lady Bulldogs at 4-1, and the two teams will battle for the second Final Four spot on Friday as rains cancelled the afternoon matches.

In the men's division, FEU's Jude Garcia and Kevin Hadlocon humbled De La Salle's Geraint Bacon and Paul Serrano, 21-11, 21-10, to moved within a win of securing an outright Finals berth.

Reigning champions Bryan Bagunas and James Natividad of NU swept Clifford Inoferio and Alven Aljas of UE, 21-16, 21-15, while Krung Arbasto and Jaron Requinton of UST downed Pao Pablico and Jesus Valdez of Adamson University, 23-21, 21-15, to chalk up their fifth wins in six games.
 
The Bulldogs and the Growling Tigers clash for the twice-to-beat Final Four bonus on Friday.

Ateneo's Kurt Aguilar and Abai Llenos toppled  UP's Nico Consuelo and Mac Millete, 21-16, 21-15, to keep its slim semis hopes alive at 2-4.
