Injured Orizu to Akhuetie: I just hope I get a chance to get back at him

Akhuetie's revenge on Orizu is not yet counted
In the first round of UAAP Season 81, with Tamaraw center Prince Orizu manning the paint, Far Eastern University beat the University of the Philippines. Orizu expressed that part of his personal motivation in beating UP was to contain close friend Bright Akhuetie.
"Bright is like one of my best friends. I just needed to stand my ground because I did not want to be the friend who loses," Orizu said in September during the first round.
Both Akhuetie and Orizu hail from Nigeria. They remain good friends despite studying and playing in different UAAP schools.
Come the second round, the Fighting Marooons gained a measure of revenge and they now have the Tamaraws' number. Akhuetie was just three assists away from a triple-double with 20 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists.
"He played well today, I have to give him credit for that," Orizu commended.
However, Orizu was not able to give Akhuetie a challenge because he had to sit out due to a high grade ankle sprain he incurred in their game versus Ateneo de Manila University.
"I would love him to be there though. I feel bad for him, I feel bad for the team and I just wish him quick recovery so he can get back and start grinding," Akhuetie said when asked how much he missed playing against his friend.
UP may have obtained their revenge over FEU but to Akhuetie, he thinks that his personal revenge to Orizu is yet to be served.
"He didn't play, so is it counted? [No, right?] Exactly! He didn't play, but if it is against his school, yeah, but against him, [nope] he didn't play," said Akhuetie.
As for Orizu, he just playfully agreed and hoped for another outing, "I just hope I get a chance to get back at him, that's it. That's all I can say about him."
FEU and UP are currently tied at fourth place with identical records of five wins and five losses. With that, Orizu will get that "chance" to beat Akhuetie again in case both squads make it to the tough race heading to the Final Four.
