Nazareth School of National University and Ateneo de Manila High School are on track for a head-on collision to finish the first round of the UAAP 81 Men’s Basketball Tournament.

Before they do so, however, the top two teams thus far in the tournament have one more test to pass.

The Bullpups’ obstacle is bigger on Wednesday in the middle of the Blue Eagle Gym in Quezon City as standing there is resurgent Adamson High School.

NU (5-0) hopes its overwhelming depth and balance will once more be enough to shoo away the Joem Sabandal-led Baby Falcons (3-2) at 1:00 PM.

On the other hand, Ateneo (4-1) will be opposite still winless University of the East (0-5) at 3:00 PM, but still, Kai Sotto and company are certain to not take their opponents lightly.

Meanwhile, Far Eastern University-Diliman (3-2) will be out for a mighty rebound up against luckless University of the Philippines Integrated School (0-5) at 9:00 AM.

The day’s other game at 11:00 AM will then feature two upstart teams in De La Salle Zobel (3-2) and University of Sto. Tomas (2-3).
