For sure, Ange Kouame will never forget December 15, 2018
Ateneo de Manila University celebrated its annual bonfire on Saturday inside their Katipunan campus.
And so, the Blue Eagles feted their champions from five different sports in the Seniors.
As if the occasion needed to be even more special, December 15 just so happens to also be the birthday of Ange Kouame.
You know, the Ange Kouame who just so happened to take the league by storm in hus first year en route to a recognition as Rookie of the Year.
Seeing as it is his birthday, the Ateneo crowd, along with his teammates, serenaded him with a birthday song.
Afterwards, he was asked for his birthday wish. “I hope next year, it’s gonna be the same,” he answered.
Of course, as expected from a team coaches by Tab Baldwin, the now 20-year-old Ivorian reinforcement clarified that he’s not guaranteeing anything just yet. “I’m not promising anything, but I’m sure they’re ready for that, and I’m ready for that,” he said.
What a way to celebrate his birthday, don’t you think?
