Two-time UAAP basketball champion Aaron Black says he will forego his final playing year for the Ateneo Blue Eagles.

Aaron, the son of former Ateneo coach Norman Black announced his decision to "embark on a new journey" via a Twitter post last Tuesday.

Black, a 6'1" combo guard, was part of Ateneo's back-to-back championship run for UAAP Season 80 and season 81.

But he won't be part of the Blue Eagles' title defense as they gun for a three-peat.

After his 14-year stay in Ateneo, Black acknowledged everyone who helped him along the way, from the supportive alumni, his coaches and teamates, and his family.
