Isa Molde and the rest of the UP Lady Maroons may have found the formula for success.
The Diliman-based volleyball squad won two preseason championships leading up to the UAAP Season 81 tournament, and Molde credits their titles to their bonding and their focus on treasuring each other's company.
"Enjoy lang talaga," Molde told ABS-CBN Sports. "Iba yung bond namin ngayon as a team."
The championships are made only sweeter by the deep relationships that have been formed between each member of the squad, the same connection that helps alleviate the upcoming stress for the new season.
After showing off what they're capable of, expectations are naturally high for UP, a squad that last made a trip to the UAAP Final Four in season 78, back when Molde was still a rookie.
The fortified relationship between each and every member of the team, Molde says, lightens whatever pressure the Lady Maroons may feel during the season.
"Nag-eenjoy kami and yung bond na yun, madadala namin sa UAAP," Molde said.
The Lady Maroons' social media habits also come into play as they try to avoid any negative comments ahead of Season 81.
