UAAP Season 81: Lady Spikers hunt for share of lead
Four-peat-seeking De La Salle University guns for a share of the lead.

Defending three-time champion De La Salle University shoots for a share of the lead in a showdown with Adamson University in the UAAP Season 81 women’s volleyball tournament Saturday at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

The match begins at 4:00 p.m. and will air live on ABS-CBN S+A Channel 23, ABS-CBN S+A HD Channel 166, LIGA SkyCable Channel 86, LIGA HD SkyCable Channel 183, iWant and via livestream.

The Lady Spikers finally revealed its dangerous form after keeping their roster under wraps in the offseason after DLSU dismantled archrival Ateneo de Manila University, 25-14, 25-17, 16-25, 25-19, last week.

Graduating Desiree Cheng, May Luna and rookie Jolina Dela Cruz showed the way for the Lady Spikers, who barely felt the exit of Kim Kianna Dy, former MVP Majoy Baron and libero Dawn Macandili.

University of the Philippines is currently at solo lead with a 2-0 win-loss record.

On the other hand, the Lady Falcons hope to bounce back from a sorry, 21-25, 21-25, 26-24, 26-24, 6-15, loss to University of Sto. Tomas last week.

Adamson, University of the East and National University are tied at 0-1.
