UAAP Season 81: Falcons soar to share of lead

Adamson University moved up to a share of the lead after sweeping past University of the East.
Adamson University continued its early romp Wednesday as the Falcons added University of the East to its list of victims, 25-19, 25-19, 25-23, in the UAAP Season 81 men’s volleyball tournament at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Paolo Pablico just like in their previous outings led way, scoring 15 points highlighted by 13 attacks, for the Falcons’ third straight win in as many outings to tie Far Eastern University at the top of the standings.
Leo Miranda added 11 markers while Mark Alvarez scored six as Adamson handed the Red Warriors their second straight defeat. The Falcons committed only 18 errors while receiving 28 free points off UE’s miscues.
The Red Warriors dropped to 1-2 slate tied with Ateneo de Manila University.
Lloyd Josafat was the only UE player in double figures with 13 points while Clifford Inoferio posted eight markers.
