Champion FEU gets challenged by Ateneo, UP in UAAP 81 3x3
Could we see another Ateneo-UP matchup in the Finals of the UAAP 3x3?

Ateneo de Manila University and the University of the Philippines may very well be headed for another matchup for all the glory - this time in UAAP Season 81 3x3 Tournament.

The Blue Eagles and the Fighting Maroons have both sent their respective cores to the now-annual tournament scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at the Ayala Malls Feliz in Pasig.

Games on Saturday will be available via livestream on Games on Sunday will be available via livestream and on iWant.

Ateneo’s representatives will be Finals MVP Thirdy Ravena, Rookie of the Year Ange Kouame, court general Matt Nieto, and Filipino-Canadian high-flyer Matther Daves - all key cogs in their back-to-back titles in Men’s Basketball.

They are bound to meet UP’s GDL brothers Javi and Juan once more and this time, those two will be joined by prized transferees Ricci Rivero and Kobe Paras.

Of course, Far Eastern University, the defending champions of the event will have something to say about it and they will trot out Wendell Comboy, Clifford Jopia, Alec Stockton, and Kenneth Tuffin.

Adamson University will also parade a formidable lineup of Jerrick Ahanmisi, Simon Camacho, Jerom Lastimosa, and Keith Zaldivar.

University of Sto. Tomas will go with Rhenz Abando, Dave Ando, Soulemane Chabi Yo, and Renzo Subido.

Donning the colors of National University will be Daniel Chatman, JV Gallego, Michael Malonzo, and Karl Penano.

On the other hand, University of the East will not be participating in the event, as per head coach Joe Silva.
